This Mediterranean city situated on the Castellón Costa Azahar possesses some special characteristics that make it different. Here one can find coves with small cliffs interspersed with beaches, have fun in the fiestas (Carnival, San Juan and San Pedro), do sports (scuba diving, golf, sailing), get to know its history, travel along its paths, nature along the coast and in inland areas, go for walks, go shopping in the old quarter (here there is the most important shopping centre in the northern area of Castellón), and take delight in its excellent gastronomy, in which the Vinaròs king prawn stands out.

Accesses: The exit no 42 of the A-7 motorway, corresponding to Ulldecona-Vinaròs, has access to the population, as does no 43, corresponding to Peñíscola-Benicarló-Vinaròs. Also it is possible to arrive on the N 340 and the N 232.
